Bought this for our 100lb block of love. There's a lot of controversy over these collars, but if used right I've been told they can be a great training tool. In our case, it was to try to train our dog how to walk on leash without pulling. Sizing is right on, fit was great. Not too small and not too big. We removed two links for perfect fit. It's a solid, heavy and durable. It's a great quality collar. While it gave us the control we needed while training, unfortunately we have yet to meet our goals. No fault of the collar. We will be enrolling in professional training in addition to this.Bottom line I would say if you're looking for a collar like this buy it! Just please make sure you are fitting it correctly and using it right.

Our trainer recommended a prong collar for leash walking and I was a little unsure at first, but it made a huge difference. My 6-month-old puppy usually pulls a lot which makes walks frustrating for both of us. Today was our first time using it and it was the best walk we’ve had. He was calm, responsive, and the pressure was gentle, not harsh. It gave me much better control and made the experience enjoyable for both of us. Looking forward to more stress-free walks!

High quality perfect power steering for your dog. I use this on my 6 month old bernedoodle and it is a game changer. It’s not uncomfortable and all I have to do is an extremely gentle leash pop the equivalent of “tap tap tap” on someone’s shoulder and she immediately follows my lead.Dog isn’t afraid of it, not uncomfortable at all, and she’s learning good leash manners much faster now.

I wish I would have discovered this years ago! My 5-year old Golden Retriever is a continual puller and makes it very unpleasant to go on walks. A friend recommended the Halti which goes over the muzzle. I was not comfortable with that, even though I know it works really well for some dogs. I decided to try one and my dog lost her mind on our first walk wearing it and got her paw caught in it while desperately trying to get it off. Being a horse owner in the past and being familiar with this brand's excellent products, I bought it as a last resort, along with the clasp that is sold separately. It was extremely frustrating trying to figure out the clasp which you must slide to one side and then pinch to release (I wish the company would give better instructions/videos to make this an easier task.) It has been a lifesaver now that the clasp issue is solved and I highly recommend!

I have a male german shepherd and when I tell you he pulls, believe me he pullsss. Once he comes across another dog, there's no full control of him. I kept contemplating about this collar and decided to give it a try. Well, best decision since I noticed the difference right away. When he would see another dog, I would do a slight pull and he would automatically listen. I used little to no strength throughout the whole walk which made the walk enjoyable. (: My only issue is I struggle to put it on and take it off. :/
