Nice clock for the money.
if you want a $300 clock, go spend $300 and get one. Don't spend $50 and expect a $300 clock. For the features and being wood instead of cheap plastic it's a nice clock. I did have an issue with the pendulum knocking on one side, but a simple 1/8 inch turn of the clocks movement in the opposite direction from the side it was hitting on solved the problem.

Mantelpiece Grandfather Clock & Candleabra
I wanted a mantel clock for my fireplace like the one in "Beauty and the Beast" and I got exactly that as well as the candlestick. I was doubly blessed because I received both and they were a perfect match to the movies'. I would like to have had a back made of sturdier wood, but from where I and my guests sit, it looks 👌 PERFECT! I love ❤️ them both ✨ The person who wrote the comment that he couldn't sleep because of the loud ticking must have incredible hearing because it is totally silent to me.

Wanted to keep correct time.
So far this clock has been extremely easy to set up and it keeps excellent time ⏲️

It doesn't keep time. Each day the time needs to be reset.
Each day we have to reset the time. Since it doesn't keep time and it is a clock, the score must be a one. Can't rate a clock that doesn't keep time and higher.

Not what I thought it would be
Didn’t notice it was poly resin, thought it was going to be mahogany . It said painted wood. No glass in the pendulum viewing hole and the design around that hole goes all the way through ( Thought it was a carving, not holes) Needless to say, I’m very disappointed in it. Returned it.

The clock looks great!
Even though the clock is made of plastic, the wood grain looks real. The lack of written directions for minimal assembly of the clock can be easily rectified. I would recommend that. Bye in large, it was a great purchase and I hope it has a long valued life.

Doesn’t chime, but beautiful and easy to read!
I am typing this on my mom’s account. For my birthday, she had bought me this clock since I was into antique Victorian stuff, etc.Me and my grandpa had set this up, and every day, I go up to read it and watch the beautiful pendulum swinging. This is also surprisingly accurate by the seconds. This also matches well with a lot of things.

Just ok
Goes thru batteries quick so doesn’t keep time. The battery back doesn’t stay on. It’s nice looking for the price.
