Perfect for my garage.
I have a fairly nice mix of SMSL and Topping components driving a newer pair of Elac speakers in my office, but wanted to put my old Polk speakers to use in my garage. Not looking for an audiophile setup, but something where AptX is good enough, and where I don't need to dedicate space to a full receiver. This little guy totally exceeded my expectations. About the size of a paperback book or two, it fits wherever I want (right now, on top of a cabinet) and manages not to get super hot wherever I place it. Bluetooth pairing is simple, and it maintains a strong signal well outside my garage. When I flip the switch to Bluetooth, it connects fast every time.As far as sound quality goes, zero complaints here. I love the simple bass / mid / treble controls. They have really great resistance to really dial your sound in without worrying about bumps messing up your sound, and they're dead simple to use. The volume steps really well, too.If this had cost more than MSRP, I wouldn't have felt like I overpaid. But when this goes on sale (and that's often) it's an absolute bargain.

Small Desktop Amp - Stereo/Remote/Bluetooth/USB play/Subwoofer Amp :)
Bottom line is a small stereo amp/receiver with so many features, good for small space with USB playback and Bluetooth connectivity. There was no review available when I bought this for my gaming PC audio use, so writing one:- uses Texas Instruments TPA3116 power amp IC, capable of 50 watts per channel in stereo. See TI's datasheet for complete details if interested.- uses 2 x TPA3116 ICs - one to power Stereo (2-channel, 50watts x 2) speakers and a separate one (100 watts) to power passive subwoofer.- you can connect active/powered subwoofer via subwoofer pre-out, or passive subwoofer with its subwoofer speaker terminal. Subwoofer freq. control is very useful for proper integration.- tone control (bass/treble) in front along with volume control and input select.- comes with remote, don't know if universal remote could be used though.- not super powerful, I just connected with floorstands but will move to my gaming PC with small bookshelf speakers and active subwoofer.- build quality is nice, looks good too. 4mm banana plug fit nicely to speaker binding post.- Sound is clean within its limits.- did not too warm to touch running loud for hours, came with AC/DC adapter power supply.- can be used just as stereo desktop amp with 2 small speakers, or 2 speakers + 1 powered/active subwoofer (recommended with supplied PSU), or 2 speakers + 1 Active/powered Subwoofer + 1 Passive Subwoofer (but upgrade PSU if possible).Considerations:------------------- just 50 watts per channel, so good enough for small bookshelf speakers. Adding a subwoofer is easy and adds missing piece in overall sound.- mine came with 19v 4.74A AC/DC adapter - 90 watts in total. You can get 24v PSU if need more power, but not needed at all if not using passive subwoofer.- small size and so speaker terminals are close to each other. Be careful if connecting bare speaker wires, avoid strands touching amp chassis or other terminal. I would highly recommend buying banana plug for clean and risk free connection.- came with remote, but just good enough quality and not bad for the price I paid.Overall, not so powerful but a useful amp/receiver for small space with loads of inputs and subwoofer connectivity.Good enough for a small desktop/computer audio setup.

Pops with turning off
The sound quality is good for the price. Nice to have tone controls. Bluetooth also works well. I just couldn't stand the speaker "pop" sound when it's turned off. I have it connected to the TV headphone output and that also "pops" when the TV is turned off but that's probably the TV's fault. Had to return the unit.

Wow! Big features in a small package!
I spent months searching for the right Bluetooth receiver/amplifier that could sit inside my pool house. This small unit has it all! I ran it for hours (not at full volume) when the ambient temperature was 85-90 degrees F. The case has no vents so it will keep most outdoor dust/dirt out. If you are serious about your audio sound quality then you already know you MUST have a dedicated subwoofer speaker channel like this amplifier provides, even for a low watt device. Don't waste your time buying a cheap amp that doesn't have a subwoofer channel with its own independent gain and frequency control. This amplifier gives you outstanding subwoofer signal flexibility so you can match the output to your existing speaker (passive or active). In addition the unit gives you bass and treble adjustments for the main speakers. 3 methods of input: RCA level jacks, Bluetooth, and USB drive. I can't wait to use the level subwoofer output channel (RCA jack) when the time comes to send to another amplifier. The Bluetooth range is OUTSTANDING - I stopped testing the signal when it was still working at 75ft! The knobs themselves are top-notch quality. The speaker studs are also quality pieces and rock-solid. The remote seems to work well. Be aware the rated power output (main speakers 50 watts*2 + subwoofer 100 watts = 200 watts) is a "peak" number. Continuous power output is most likely closer to 90 watts based upon the rated output of the AC/DC adapter (19V * 4.74 amps). Regardless the unit sounds great. As stated in the headline of this review, this amplifier has just about all the features you could ever want in such a small package, for an affordable price. You will not be disappointed!

Not terrible, but a bit muddy in the mids
I was looking for a replacement of a Yamaha Natural Sound receiver that is stereo and heard these were very good...well, this isn't the worse amp I have ever had, but the mids are very muddy. They are lost between the highs and lows, don't have any mid punch like the Yamaha does. It isn't bad and doesn't sound bad when listening at low volumes, but when you turn it up a bit it loses the mids almost all together. I have tried adjusting the controls and the mid control seems to be almost out of phase or something. The more you add, the more the mids disappear. It is frustrating, but not terrible with low volume. I will probably keep it, but look for something more high end for my system.
