Great little multi foam cutter
I was slightly aprehensive due to the cost but i was pleasantly suprised as it does the job really really well, the wire doesn't bend eg tension is great, the three attachments work really well. You just have to turn it off and leave it a minute before changing them over. You get a spare wire in the box, just make sure you store that safe. Only issue is the build quality of the plastic handle is a little flimsy plastic, but I totally expected that due to the price it doesnt effect the use of it but if ur heavy handed just take care. Im solidly made up with it, great little starter cutter!

It is not working
The media could not be loaded. So wire is not hot enough after 5 min of use it gone cold not working anymore, couldn't even make one hole in styrofoam.

A very comprehensive set
A very good low cost comprehensive set.You get a good selection of tool head shapes with this set and it works very well on expanded blue foam which is used by many model makers.

A useful tool
A useful tool but it didn't cut into thick foam pieces as easily as I thought it would - the connectors kept seeming to come loose and the gadget went cool..

Really useful.
Very pleased with this item. For years I've cursed that foam packaging that so much stuff is packed in nowadays. It's hard to dispose of. To get it in the bin it's difficult to cut even with a sharp knife, and sawing it leaves a million little white bobbles that get everywhere. We've recently started getting our meat and fish from an online supplier. Lovely quality, but packed in large foam boxes and the prospect of dealing with them on a regular basis almost made me give up using the company. So I bought this, and what a pleasure it is to use. It comes with three fittings. Two wands of different lengths, and the bow shaped wire cutter which is what I use for the boxes. Slices through the 40 mm foam effortlessly, allowing me to cut the foam into small sizes suitable for a bin bag without a hint of mess. Brilliant! Mains supply, so no worrying about the battery running low, and comes with a spare wire. don't know how long it will last, but so far I love it.

It does what its not meant for
You know all that foam packaging that you collect, the stuff that breaks into little, clingy bits that are a pain to clean up, well I had a load of it and thought it might be an idea if I got a hot foam cutter, so I did, this one. Although it was'nt really meant for this job it did it well, took a bit longer but I did'nt have to speand ages cleaning up. I'm not into model making or stuff like that but I did get to try cutting shapes and it did those very well as well so there you are, its good at stuff it not meant for and good at stuff it is, bonus.

Terrible do not buy!!!
This is the most flimsy tool! You cannot put any pressure on it all! I was using it to cut 6mm polystyrene and the D ring attachment broke driving it as slowly as possible with zero force and was so flimsy it became detached from the socket. Used the long saw and that broke too!Absolute crap.
