This lavender smells good; it has a strong, familiar lavender scent when you open the package. I was a little reticent about purchasing herbs over the internet but right away I was reassured when I opened it up.The taste is also good. It has a soothing quality both in flavor and effect. I've used this both in tea and hot baths. It would also be useful in sachets, to tuck next to your pillow while sleeping (but since it's organic, I'd save it for edible purposes).The AI is suggesting I should talk about caffeine content, but lavender has no caffeine. Duh.

Color, smell so good, use for all house area and calming effect.

I received this package in excellent condition and packaging in a timely manner. I totally love all things Lavender. I made a body scrub with Lavender flowers and dead sea salt, Lavender tea with honey, and Lavender perfume oil infused in Sweet Almond Oil. Later this week, I will make a Lavender facial toner. This dried flower is of good quality, sweet and aromatic when infused in hot water to make tea. It's delicious and delightful. The aroma is light scented in bath salts. This package contains dried Organic French Lavender flowers from France. You can add a few drops of organic French Lavender essential oil to boost the scent when making skin care or crafts products only. I don't recommend using any other Lavender oil that's not an organic French oil. It may not blend well or smell good with your DIY products based on their chemical constitutes. I am very happy with my purchase and I am pleased with the results. The hot tea is amazing. One teaspoon is enough to make one cup of tea. It's aromatic enough to drink plain without any sweeteners or honey. I have a sweet tooth, so I used a little honey in my tea. I will make Lavender iced tea later and see how it turns out. I highly recommend this product for your DIY projects. I will try to make Lavender rice as well. I purchased the Hibiscus flowers from Feel Good Organics and will post my review after I've completed my DIY projects. Cornflower by this same company is next on my list to buy. It's a little pricey for a small batch, but the reviews are great.

I've purchased lavender in the past and it was nowhere near as potent as this bag. Maybe it's hit or miss, maybe it's been treated with something. I don't know, but it sure is potent. It'll probably go bad before I get a chance to finish the bag.
