The media could not be loaded. I'm building cabinets for my family/A-V room, learned alot when I did this 15 years ago for a house we sold so not forgetting to include lighting. And I'm not putting anything in that does not meet my criteria.Photos show my testing of extreme heat scenario, not an issue. Wrapped the lamp in three layers of foil and left it on for an hour. It did get warm but not enough to concern me. And admittedly the part that could also get hot, the converter, it remained barely over ambient temperature. And since this will be housed under better circumstances then my tests I feel confident of it's safety.And the lights dim. Not great but it does work to set the mood, kind of a clunky dim! It flickers up or down when dimming and the dimmest point is not like that of a high end LED but still will work well for my application.Update: All installed with the latest Kasa smart dimmer light switch and dimming is smooth and solid. Still images are at 1%, 50%, 75% and 100%. Video is when I manually turn them off, I have it set at a slow dim to off and these lights rock. If you take into account they are not listed as dimmable and yet they dim with the best of them. I'm very pleased.

Was looking to replace two halogen spots in a medicine cabinet. These worked fabulously well.

They are very bright and do not get extremely warm. Easy, one hole installation. I did have a problem with one of the light's spring mounting wings. One end of one of the springs (each light has two of them, one on each side) came loose from its bracket and would not retain the fixture. Ordered replacement and one of those fixtures had the same problem. I would buy them again provided I could return them and get replacements for the defective spring mount if needed.

I have these in my outside pergola and they look great. Would purchase them again if I had the choice.I’m a little skeptical about the wire connectors as they seem like cheap plastic. If any of the lights go out I’m going to check those first.I’d be interested to see what the CRE is on these. No-name brands are typically bad. But for outside they’ll be fine.

I have four bookcase lights that are power hungry Halogens, not to mention their tendency to burn out frequently.I bought four of these LEDs and they popped right in to the existing 2" holes. They're easy to link together as outlined in the instructions so only one controller is needed.One thing I found and the company confirmed, if you use an online touch dimmer, make sure it's 110 otherwise they will flicker in the "off" position. I simply switched to a Leviton slide dimmer switch (also on Amazon) and not only elimated the flicker, but gave me more flexibility for the brightness levels.

New construction application- NOT UL CERTIFIED My Electrician said they would never pass electrician inspection...So roll the dice & take you chances - I'm not going to risk pissing off the inspector
