Well when I first saw these I really thought is this a joke ! How is a load of twirly things going to stop pigeons diving into our tree over looking decking in our garden pooping everywhere!So tree earrings on ! No more pigeons! So surprised such a simple thing like hanging a load of shinny twirly things on a tree actually worked !

This magpie seemed oblivious to the spinner. However on the whole they have kept the birds from landing in the garden and seem pretty effective. The structure is firm and strong but the elastic feels flimsy but I think it has to be thin and light to provide the bounce that makes them spin.

Bought these reflective bird deterrents to keep the pigeons away, total waste of money, they sit right next to them, don't waste your money they're useless

Bought these to deter the pigeons. Man next door puts bread out and they sit on my kitchen roof to keep an eye on the bread supply. My dog then has to bark at every passing pigeon. They seem to work. I did buy windmills and silver tape too. So it could be a combination of all three or just one of these that are working.

These are made perfectly for what they say they are, sturdy and shiny but just don't keep the birds away, I have a pesky wagtail that throws itself at my car repeatedly throughout the day leaving bird poo all over my car .... I got these to scare it off but they just don't work
