Never thought a seat cushion would make such a difference but it really really does. I have been suffering from one thing or another since we have been working from home. First the chair seat was too hard, got a cushion. My work purchased another chair for me, the wheels were scratching my hardwood floors, so I got rubber wheels. Then the chair was too high, and my bottom was hurting. It's been one thing after the other--- back hurting, sciatica -- my bottom or my thighs. I mean the chair(s) have cushion but after awhile they became unbearable. I was getting so irritable and I had tried at least 3 different cushions with 2 different chairs.... adjusted the heights... did everything you could think of. This was my hail Mary ---and VOILA! I feel pretty damn good sitting in my chair for a full work day. My sciatica is not bothering me, my bottom doesn't hurt.... nothing to do with sitting hurts!It has retained it's shape after a week (most do not) it is super cushiony, doesn't get too hot or too cold. That space for your tailbone really does wonders. Who knew???I am just loving it and I am sooo glad that I purchased. You too will be happy and relieved.

Backstory: I was 12 years old when I i jured my tailbone. My dad had this idea of us family hanging out on the roof to overlook the park which was behind our house, but the last day I did that, I slipped from the ladder going down and fell sitting down on the grass! It didn’t hurt, but the pain crept in later. Since then, I had massage therapy until it healed and was able to move again.Fast-Forward to adulthood: I noticed that the pain returned. I don’t know if it’s the cold weather or the hard seat of my chair or both, but I had ordered this cushion for the pain of my tailbone so I can write on my desk. Before it arrived, I was almost in tears because of the pain.Then the cushion arrived! I used it and it felt comfortable, but I needed more time to test it out. Then the other night, that pain started to creep on my tailbone again! I laid on my stomach but still hurted, so I rushed over to my chair and used the cushion. It felt like it stopped the pain, but I stayed a while longer in case. So I wrote in my planner and when I was done, I got up and the pain was gone!! I was so relieved and overjoyed to have found such an incredible product! I highly recommend this cushion if you have problems or old injury with your tailbone, too. This of course was based on my experience.

This was the 2nd most appreciated thing I brought with me to my first (and probably last) Nascar race. I had no idea how long I would be stuck in that seat watching cars drive around in circles... or not. I can't imagine how miserable I would have been without this. I felt so sorry for the people with nothing, or just a thin flat cushion. Approaching bag check I stuck the carry bag in my tote and carried the cushions by their handles so they would not put me over the bag limit. The racetrack allowed a 14" soft cooler and a 17" backpack or tote but also allowed a soft seat cushion if it was not bagged. After passing through the check in I unfolded the carry bag and squished both cushions back into the same one again. It was a tight fit but they are foam so it worked and still even zipped closed. In addition to making our hard plastic seats much more comfortable we also used these to sit on the concrete floor while hiding from the rain and lightning. I bought these as part of the very good advice I received on things that I absolutely HAD TO BUY if I was going to a race. The #1 item was the ear muff style gun range hearing protection that kept me from going deaf. I can imagine using these in the future for several events. The only 2 things I wish they had done better: Make the carry bag waterproof. Have a waterproof backing on the bottom of the cushion. As they are they have to be protected from the rain and you have to make sure you dry wet surfaces. This foam will absorb water and nothing included protects from that. An easy though somewhat awkward fix is to put the cushion inside your rain poncho and give yourself enough slack to adjust comfortably after sitting on it. You just have to remember to grab the cushion before standing up.

I was waiting to review this until I had been using it for a while but Amazon keeps pestering me with emails to review it so here goes.Mostly ok. Back feels better but legs keep falling asleep. Not sure if because of the cushion, the chair it is being used on, or the old building with uneven floors my office is in. Not the most comfortable I have ever been but does seem to provide adequate support. Less pain is always good though so I'm giving it four stars. Might've gotten five if they'd given me a realistic amount of time to form an opinion.

This is just very reliable, mostly used it for the car (short ppl probs) and my MIL loved it so we gifted her one! I used it briefly for work chair before I got an upgrade. Your behind will love it! ergonomic and comfy.

This cushion seems to be well-made but is very uncomfortable. It is extremely hard and actually cut off my circulation in my leg so my foot and leg fell asleep. I do not recommend this if you are planning to sit on it for long periods of time.

I ordered the medium size which works great for me. It is a little bit of a tight fit on a narrow chair, but fits fine on all other seating. I purchased a donut shaped immediately after my injury, but it only gave me a minimal amount of relief from the pain if I had it positioned perfectly. I decided to try this one to see if it worked better for me, prior to a vacation I had planned. I am so glad I did order it! I felt relief from the pain of sitting the first time I tried it! I highly recommend this cushion. It comes with a side zippered carrying bag which is nice, but the hard plastic on the handle makes it uncomfortable to carry for extended periods of time, like over an hour if you are traveling or doing a lot of walking
