Great value
Great value cleaning kit. Most other cleaning kits cost the same or more and are less quality. The bushing key is interesting. It’s not particularly impressive, pretty simple procedure with a normal bushing wrench. However, the kit itself had a good selection of brushes and rods and came with a stack of patches for cleaning that held up pretty well. All in all I would recommend this product. Fits great in a range bag and has all the basics.

Very Nice Kit, Didn't need the Wrench
Great starter kit for your first 1911. Comes with multiple bore brush sizes for different calibers and the cleaning tools (not the oils/cleaners) needed to clean your gun. The addition of cotton patches was a nice, unexpected touch. The breakdown, lube, and cleaning guide is very well written and provides excellent pictures on what to do. Much better directions than what came with my gun. The case for everything is also of very high quality.The only thing I don't use is the wrench. It's kind of overkill and I've heard and seen pictures of it damaging the finish on the front end of the gun or the gun damaging it. If this is your first 1911 and never broken one down before don't be intimidated by removing the barrel bushing and recoil spring plug. It's really not that difficult; I use the end of a toothbrush to push down the plug.
