1 star reviews easy fix
I read all the one star reviews before ordering like I normally do. Problem s identified or the way they are written usually determine how seriously I take them. I had ordered three roof mount TV antennas, to point at three different mountains containing broadcast towers. The antennas all came with 30' of coaxial cables. I only wanted to run one cable into the house, so I cut to about 6' and used these connectors to attach to a three to one splitter. I stripped the cable and screwed the connectors on, one coax was slightly too big so I trimmed it a little with a carpet knife. I applied a couple of drops of epoxy to the outside of the cable making sure not to get it on the nut. Waited a couple of hours and attached to the splitter. Ran my one coax into the house and attached to the TV. Picking up over 70 channels. Bye direct TV. Tv on Amazon prime is also better than I expected. I will have to buy some type of recorder. Prime is $99 a year, 70 over air channels = costs of antennas and hardware. Savings =$150 a month. At&t has ruined direct TV. Chalk up one more customer gone.

These worked fine once I got my compression tool properly adjusted
These worked fine once I got my compression tool properly adjusted. I broke the first two with too much compression.Don't try using these without a coax stripper made for the job. It is much too difficult to do by hand.See:Deluxe Rotary Coax Coaxial Cable Stripper Cutter Tool RG58 RG6 RG59 Quad, Dual

Good connector w/ caution compressing
Worked pretty well ... just be careful when compressing three or four layer shielding. With the tool I have, the plastic back tended to collapse to the side. Just loosen the tool when half done and rotate it 180 deg to finish compressing the connector.

Works
Really not much to say, they work and are cheap. What else do you need?

Work great.
We are cable cutters so we have an antenna in the attic and ran coax to each room. Bought these to finish the coax in each room. Worked perfectly. You do need a crimping tool for these.

My poor hands!
I have NO CLUE why these are so highly rated. I can only assume that I'm doing something wrong, but I don't think so. I've been buying the same Southwire quad-shield RG6 wire for years, and these connectors are absolute murder to get onto the cable. I have to push SO FREAKING HARD to get them on. They crimp fine and work ok, but by the time I've done about four terminations my hands are toast.I've switched to Klein connectors which are indeed far more expensive but they're an absolute DREAM to terminate. They go on SO easily and crimp great. But these are total garbage. I had a couple dozen left but I'm not even tempting fate by keeping them as backups. They went straight into the trash when I found how great the Kleins were.
