Sturdy worth the money
Sturdy, great light.

Phenomenal light.
I love this light. I use it in the top back in my YouTube studio. It’s very diffused and attractive and my clients love to look at it and always ask about this balloon thingy.

Nice light kit but not as bright as the Ulanzi 150W bi-color
I compared this to the ULANZI LC150B 150W Bi-Color Cob Video Light and the Ulanzi was brighter at all color temps (I no longer have a light meter but am guessing by as much as 50% brighter.) Both lights have a good bi-color range and rendition. The light fixture is solidly constructed and should stand up over time in most use-cases. The included light stand and lantern are nice. The fan is audible at all power outputs, but it's not overly loud and I wasn't concerned it would interfere with my recordings. IMO a padded carry-case should be included in any light kit these days, but unfortunately there's not one with this light. The dangling power adapter on many of these lights is silly. At the very least, they should include a light stand clamp to hold the adapter. I've taken to making my own clamps. The Ulanzi LC150B has a built in adapter so nothing but the power cable runs down the light stand. I didn't try the GVM smartphone app so can't comment on that. But the Ulanzi has a separate remote control with a rechargeable internal battery which is a nice touch. I like the GVM brand and have a few of their lights. But the Ulanzi LC 150B is a good alternative esp. if output/brightness is your main concern.

Fantastic for video production
The lights were exactly what I needed. I use them my studio to film hairstyling videos. As an amateur and not video savvy at all, I highly would recommend them to anyone seeking lighting even as a beginner. The ring lights and such do not work nearly as well.

Pro quality
I bought this light for greenscreen, but it works so well that I just don’t want to take it down. It’s become my primary bedroom light; I love the color adjustment feature and the continuous brightness dimming feature. This is probably the best light I have in my house.

Missed screw
Imagine you had been waiting for your new video light and it came with missing screw. Even I couldn't test it. I definitely will return back the light.

The cord contains a high amount of lead
Unlike most major brand electronics, the power cords on this and other GVM photo lights contain a high level of lead. I own four of their lights and was able to switch out the cords for some with lead free options, but was not able to find replacements for all. Most people aren't aware of all the odd brands from China sold on third party marketplaces that have a more...cavalier use of lead that American brands that typically wouldn't dare due to our prop 65 and liability issues. Things that have been phased out by major companies here...persist in many of the random brands sold online.I would suggest washing hands after handling the cords and being mindful of kids playing in or with the cords, maybe avoid using these in spaces kids play. Most photography people don't think about this stuff but when you use an XRF you find lead in surprising places and it drives home how many electronics are made better and in compliance with RoHS and some are not.
