I purchased one as a gift and it was so beautiful I wanted one for myself. I do not think the one I received is as beautiful as what I gifted. Also, as in some other reviews, it has black specks in it. I will not return it but I really don't care for the black specks throughout the stone.

It is so hard to purchase something like this online because we cannot see it in person to judge for ourselves. I guess that, over time, I have come to get use to sellers not caring about we buyers and ignoring any negative comments, leaving a bad taste. But I am happy to report that this seller, KALIFANO, not only reads and listens to their customers, they also rectify the situation. I will definitely purchase from this seller again!After reading many positive reviews I decided to purchase this for my granddaughter's birthday. It is pretty but it is much smaller than I anticipated. The geode I received is maybe an inch thick and smaller than the odd-shaped area that's cut out in the box where it sits when it comes in. This geode does not stand up at all and basically just needs to lay there in the box or it will fall over. Mine did not arrive in any type of pouch like others have mentioned but rather was a box wrapped in cellophane. Buying this type of item is tricky at best since we cannot pick out which geode we want ahead of time therefore, I don't feel purchasing something like this is worth taking the chance on given the asking price vs the size.
