Best purchase ive made
Ive always had trouble waking up to my phones alarm. Ive set it to everything from death metal to high pitched noises to loud alarms. You name it, ive tried to make it louder and put it through my phone speakers. However i always seem to get used to them and just tune it out.Not this clock. Ive purchased this clock multiple times over a couple years now and ill tell ya, there is just no beating the good ol' fashioned bells. This clock has never failed to make me literally jump awake, and if you have problems getting up, this oughta help you like it helped me. In fact the reason ive bought a few of these is because ive been startled awake, tried to shut it off in a panic, and knocked it halfway across the room and broke it. But at this price point they are so replaceable ive no issue with that.

Loud and Annoying... In A Good Way
This alarm clock is loud and annoying, which on most reviews would be a bad thing. For a review of an alarm clock that is what I need.I am not a morning person, nor are my teenage kids. I have used multiple alarm clocks, even having set my Echo to wake me and the kids up and turn on the lights with not much success. (sorry Amazon). This clock is loud. This wakes me and the kids from a deep sleep. As an added bonus, my kids or I can't just yell to Alexa to Snooze. The only downside of this alarm clock is the battery door. If you knock the clock over the battery door opens and the battery falls out. At that point it no longer works.I would buy this clock again, I just wish that if my hand or cat knocks the clock over the battery wouldn't fall out.

I am passionate about this clock
PASSIONATE, I tell you. I had a Sharp branded clock that was almost identical, except it was way less durable. And it ticked. So. Loudly. I could feel it in my BONES, man. Nearly lost my mind. So in comes this clock. It's two feet from my head and it's practically silent. I've dropped it twice into a carpet and it hasn't broken yet. It's always accurate. And by Jove, it wakes you up. I wear earplugs sometimes because of noisy neighbors at 12 am and birds outside at 6 am. It cuts right through. Keep in mind it's two feet from my head and I'm a light sleeper so YMMV. I use it with some Panasonic Eneloop AA batteries and bam. Convenient, low cost, reusable batteries forever. Love it. I've had it for 4 months now.

Simple and pretty alarm clock, but lacks useful features
Works great for the price, and looks very nice. The materials appear to be good quality and it is well-constructed. I like the subdued, elegant design, and the lack of a huge annoying logo on the face.I was disappointed in a couple things, mainly that there is no control for volume. I have seen other alarm clocks that let you set the hammer travel distance, and I kind of expected this one to have it, but it doesn't. Also, the dial to set the time and the dial to set the alarm are the exact same shape, so unless you have memorized which one is on which side, you have to use trial and error, which is annoying considering that all they needed to do was make one dial bigger.

It Does What I Need It For
A few years ago In need of a new hot Water tank because the AO Smith connections started rusting so I bought a Whirlpool that was suppose to be more energy efficient I figured because It had more Insulation but then to find out Its computerized which does Not make It better It makes It worse, the computer unit said there was a problem with the bottom heating element, It was lying and refused to heat the Water, a new computer unit cost over a hundred and 30 dollars compared to other hot Water tanks thermostat costing around 25 dollars so I bypassed the computer unit and hooked up a circuit switch to turn It on and off and I use this alarm clock so I will know when to turn It off.Of course I would rather have an alarm clock as Them made 50 years ago that Is wind up Instead of using batteries but this alarm clock works just fine.

Yup it's going to make you want to wake up before it
This thing gives me night sweats thinking about the sound that it's going to make at 6:30am and I wake up before it just to shoot it so I don't have to hear the sound I have been given PTSD from my parents when I was younger so now I need to do my part and pass it on so now my son is doing a little not good in school to the point that he doesn't get to do anything now and his clock was a little to cool before so I got this and replaced it so he can have PTSD don't know why it needs me to rate it thickness but it's a 10 and you know I is really good and keeping the time... Like it continues to blow me away that I come back and see it's 5 minutes later Everytime I look wow so good foyoooo!!!!!

This is 3rd purchase
I’ve purchased 3 of these over a 3 year period. They all arrived packaged well and quickly and are simple to use.The first took a dive off the nightstand and broke so I ordered another. The second, the bells stopped ringing loudly as they moved away from the hammer over time. The 3rd was purchased two weeks ago and despite changing batteries, is losing about an hour a day. I’d return it if I didn’t burn the box already.

Minimalist & No Ticking - Update (Replaced and works great!)
The old school bell is the only type of alarm “alarming” enough to jolt me out of bed. I place it across the room, so i have to get up to turn it off. This particular one I love because it’s minimalistic and it makes NO TICKING NOISE! I record a lot in my bedroom and the old clock I had, i had to take out the batteries just to stop the ticking. Not with this one.--Update May 16, 2019--I woke up late to work twice this week because something inside the clock must have become loose or stopped working from the alarm bell vibrations. It no longer works the way it should. Very disappointed... I hate dealing with cheap products--Update December 30, 2019 --The company sent me a new one and recommended I only turn the dials the direction displayed on the back. I have followed that rule and have been using the clock for several months now, it works great!!
