We've been debating whether to buy one for ages, and this was definitely a good choice. Can easily stand in different heights, so far no issues on sturdiness and very easy to connect to the phone. At least from 5-6 meters away in terms of distance of remote, but haven't fully tested the distance aspect yet.

Very good tripod, durable, portable, tall, it is amazing HOWEVER, the base is just so difficult to open....I struggle everytime!

Wow! That was a great buy! I have used it multiple times and it is very handy. I can usi it when e.g. on video calls at home. I don't need to hold my phone but the stand will do it for me. It extends to a great height and the tripod makes it stable. The remote control is very neatly stuck on the stick so you can't lose it. Great value for money!

This is a great product! It was bigger than I expected although I hadn’t read the dimensions. It is an amazing bit of kit! It is very sturdy and it is impressive how far it extends whist still staying sturdy. It holds my iPhone 14 pro well and it’s great how you can easily turn it landscape or portrait. The button pairs easily with my phone and works great. Can’t wait to use it on holiday!

Just the job! How this company make such good quality gear for the price I don't know. Perfect for mobiles and for small video and stills cameras. It is a little whippy when fully extended but not enough to worry about. I use it with the Osmo Pocket 3 and it's ideal for more creative shots.

I think this is good value and meets my need to record video on a mobile at eye level.I wondered if it should be four or five stars. Price wise it is a low cost option. The phone holder grips well. It's a good height and acceptable when folded.The plastic has a low rent feel, the tripod feet can be difficult to open and the accessory shoe is very narrow so not a lot of contact area with a light or mic, which is a worry.I made a yt video.

Bought this because I liked the idea of a selfie stick that could double as a tripod. Most offer that kind of dual feature but few support heavier premium compact cameras. In my case I wanted to be able to sit my Lumix DMC-LX15 on it.On opening up the stick comes inside a draw string bag and it's clear the people behind it spent some time on its aesthetics. It might be plastic but looks quite polished with matte finish for the handle and the remote trigger is snugly fitted into place.By default it has the phone holder attached which has your usual spring for holding a variety sizes of phone. In my case it was the LG G8S ThinQ which fitted fine but I had to watch out the clamp didn't land on the side buttons. Other than that, it works like your familiar selfie stick; pull out the extensions to your preferred length and snap away. Unfortunately it's heavier than your regular selfie stick because of the max length of the stick and the concealed tripod base so, you might have a hard time getting sharp selfies. I ended up going back to the lighter selfie-sticks.Next up was the tripod base. The instructions aren't very clear on how to open it so I thought I had to pry it open. Obviously I didn't want to break it so I gave up after trying to gently pry it open with my fingers. Fortunately there was a demo video here that gave a clue... You actually just have to wrap your fingers around the ring where you can see the tripod joints. Then while holding the upper extension pull out and it opens up like an umbrella. The first time you'll probably get a bit of a startling bang as it's snaps open fully. Once you're done, you do the reverse to close and then click each flap back into place.As some reviews have alreaady noted, it's not that stable as a tripod due to the design. It just barely manages to support a premium compact which means it should be fine with mirror-less cameras with pancake lenses too. Regular tripods have the poles spread out directly underneath the camera but this only provides support at the very bottom like a mic stand so the telescopic pole wobbles around. Just my compact camera extending its lens alone wobbles it when the stick is fully extended. Indoors it's fine. Videos and photos both look sharp via mobile and camera.Other point to note is if you want to use both camera and mobile, you'll have to carry two different brackets around with you and then attach them via a screw which is easy enough thanks to its giant cap. Unfortunately when attaching a camera, you'll have to rotate either the camera or selfie stick to screw the camera on. Something like a rotating screw base would have been ideal like the kind some regular tripods have so, I suggest screwing the bracket onto the camera or photo accessory first, then attach it to the selfie stick. Or you might want to factor in the cost of buying an extra ball head adapter that would let you adjust the camera angle, pan and have a quick release plate.Nevertheless, it's been very useful during my trips as a mono-tripod. Haven't used my full sized tripod since.+ Versatile tripod.+ Supports bigger heavier compact cameras.+ Mobile bracket has cold shoe for additional accessory such as a light or mic.+ 1.6m is a decent height if you want to sit it on the floor or by the window.+ Nice finish despite just being of plastic build.+ Tripod base well concealed.+ Easy to change and secure brackets.- Instructions don't tell you how to open up the tripod base.- Fair bit heavier than regular selfie sticks so hard to use as one.- Base tripod design means it's not very stable for sharp photos, especially low light night photos.- Camera bracket doesn't feature a rotating screw base.- No panning support so might want to factor in cost of a ball head adapter.
