Excellent First Impressions
My first impressions of this cordless smoothie blender is that it's pretty impressive. At first glance while unboxing, it appears a bit small and the plastic blender body appeared to be a tad thin but its not an issue at all, and after charging this up and making a smoothie I am impressed. I used apple juice, a chopped banana, some berries and a few pieces of sliced and chopped Mango.I blended it for 20 seconds (starting upside down for 2 seconds) and it came out near perfect. I found about three tiny pieces of banana but for such a short blend I think that was really good. The best way I found to clean this is to rinse it out as soon as possible after use, then add ONE tiny drop of dish soap, then add water to about half way and run it 20 seconds then rinse again. I left it to sit on a paper towel until dry.Be careful when cleaning. Although it has a safety feature that prevents it from turning on without the blender body, its still good practice to keep your fingers well away from the blades!I have made three smoothies so far. None using ice or frozen fruit, I have used frozen fruit but allow it to defrost before adding it to the blender.Note; I live in hot and humid south Texas. Strawberries and berries etc. seem to go off pretty fast even in my fridge. I had a 2 day old pack of strawberries that seemed to shrivel up and show signs of mold. Grapes seem to do much better though...so if you can buy frozen fruit, it’s pretty inexpensive (nice to be able to say that nowadays.) and you can make a new mix for every smoothie. Also I use orange or apple juice or good old bottle water. I mix my protein powder into one smoothie a day.I will do an update on how this is holding up and how many uses I get from each charge but I will likely recharge after about 6 uses. So far its a good smoothie blender and I recommend it.

Absolutely amazing
I love that I can take it around with me anywhere I want, so long as it's charged, and just make smoothies on the go! If I ever need to rush a breakfast, I just throw the ingredients in and head out!

Smaller than I anticipated
I was needing a small mini blender to use with Boost and Ensure shakes. I just had a hip replacement & was told that I needed to increase my daily protein intake by 30 grams. Before ordering, I checked the ounces that the blender would hold. It holds the ounces of one container of Boost. I can add a little amount of chocolate syrup but not much. I tried adding a tablespoon of peanut butter. The peanut butter dropped to the bottom & didn’t blend because the liquid filled to the top of the bottle & the blender cut off. I probably should have looked for a larger capacity blenderA negative has to do with cleaning. As I am using chocolate, I discovered that just rinsing the blades wasn’t really getting the chocolate out. I had to use not only the dish soap, but also a small brush to remove the chocolate from the bottom of the blender. Also, turning it upside down to remove the blades does cause a bit of mess.It does the job for which I bought it. Not for heavy duty blending but it does what I need it to do. If I had to do it again, would buy something a little bit larger.

Nice, light little personal blender!
I bought this for a house/dog/cat sitting couple of weeks for a friend who didn’t have a lender (or not that I could fine). I also thought it might be good for travel, since I like smoothies in the morning. This little thing does the trick. I did not try any greens in it, but it was fine for liquid, yogurt and berries. Simple to use. Love the rechargeable feature. I’m not suer how many times one can use it on a charge, since I just plugged it in after use, but it is exactly what I wanted. So far, so good, and I really do think its lightweight will make it easy to throw in a checked bag and be on my way to a vacatioN! Recommend.

Ok for casual use if you read the instructions
I’ve had an up and down experience with this blender. When I first got it, it was wonderful and powered through many smoothies with frozen fruit and ice easily and went weeks before I needed a charge. Loved it so much I bought more and gave them as gifts, until suddenly they seemed to stop working and I was getting red lights and no blending.I was ready to toss these as malfunctioning junk when I decided to read the manual carefully for one last chance…and realized I hadn’t always been using it correctly and had not been interpreting the lights. You are supposed to fill with liquid first up to min, add solids/liquid (up to max), start the blending upside down and then flip it so that the base is down. A fast red flashing light means there is an obstruction on the blades, a slow red flashing means the battery needs to be recharged. Flashing red/blue means the jar is not sealed properly. Solid red means the blender is overheated.I use this to make smoothies and as long as I am careful not to overburden it with too much ice or frozen fruit (recommend just a few cubes, and be prepared to remove/dislodge some if they get stuck) then it works fine. You can “check” the battery level by pressing the button for 3 seconds, wait for one red flash, and then see if the next flash is blue (fully charged) or red/blue (50%) or solid red (needs recharging)…but since I have 2 of these, I just rotate them when they need charging, about every 10 blends. Note that the blender cannot be used while charging and a full charge takes 4 hours.Honestly, I probably wouldn’t repurchase this if I had to do it over again, but they are functional if you are looking for a light duty portable blender. I completely understand why the reviews are mixed because if I had written this during my initial carefree amazing stage or during the downtrodden malfunctioning stage, my rating would be completely different. I think the different light flashing combinations are confusing and not very intuitive for people who don’t study the user manual.Important tip—the inner lip of the base is a silicon gasket and it can be removed for cleaning. This is not mentioned in the manual so perhaps it is not meant to be lifted, but I noticed that the inner perimeter of the base kept accumulating moisture/food and leaving a thin dark line at the lip, and when I went in to clean that crevice with a toothpick I realized the gasket could come up and there was indeed moisture and residue trapped underneath.
