Makes veggie hydroponics so much easier!
Rock wool is easy to tear. Hole in it is deep enough for all seeds. lots of room in the net cups. So much clear and easier than the peat pods.

works but small
Lovely kit, however i wish the rockwool was a bit bigger. It is too small for the pot and there is a ton of room on the sides. Not as full as the ones i have gotten from fish stores

Way too small lipped
Edit: These work ok for flat surfaces using a 50mm hole saw. They fit ok even if you're not too accurate with the hole saw, as the hole would need to be 54mm or larger for it to fall through. I would still like a wider lip though, and it doesn't work on my curved NFT system, but works for my bucket Kratky. These are small, thin but flexible, net pots that have holes small enough to use with perlite. I'm generally not picky with my net pots and I have a few hundred between 1 to 3", but these are not that practical to use. If you look closely at the ad picture of the pot in a NFT pipe, it's a completely different net pot with wider lips. These are 54mm at the widest diameter, including the lips. The lips are literally just 2mm wide, which make them practically useless for flush mounting the pots. If you do want to put these pots in a hole, make sure the holes are 50mm in diameter or less, so it will catch the circumference of the pot and not just the lips. Unfortunately, I already drilled my holes and since the hole is on a curved surface, there is too much wiggle room for a 2mm lip, so it falls through with the slightest motion even if you drill smaller holes (which there aren't hole saws for 48mm). The rock wool is normal. I haven't grown in it yet but it seems good. Overall, the rockwool and 72 pot set should be a great deal, but the lack of lip really hurts the usefulness. It's almost no different than directly planting the rockwool into NFT systems.

As promised, dimensionally accurate
Cubes should work but I haven't tested so giving a 4 star until I can verify.Cups worked great with 2 inch sponges to move seedlings into a hydroponic system I built.
