Loftus International Loftus Three Snakes in A Can company forgot to put any nuts in this can. I got up in the middle of the night for a snack and upon opening the can I was attacked by three snakes. I consider myself somewhat well traveled but I cannot identify this species of snake. They are oddly quite delicate because they were clearly deceased after they exited the container. I am not sure if it was the fall that killed them or the sudden decompression, that can must have been a tight squeeze. I was quite looking forward to tasting these mixed nuts, but alas I have chosen not to try my luck with another purchase.

I love my job and have an incredible team. We have a very family-like dynamic. As much as I love the man, my manager loves snacks so much he'll find where you hide things and eat a little bit every now and then. I had a jar of nuts that I thought he'd never find but he saw me put it away once, and I knew that was the end of me. After a few times of him coming over and asking for a little handful, I decided to search for something like this product. I strategically placed this fake can right where I kept my original jar. And so I waited. And waited. And after 2 weeks of patience, he finally came over, opened the drawer, and asked me where the other nuts were. I told him I finished them but I got these and they're pretty good. He took the can and attempted to remove the lid. Just as he starts to ask me how the heck you get the lid off, the thing pops open and the "snakes" go flying! I was laughing so hard I couldn't breathe! 10/10! Didn't stop him from stealing my nuts, but it was worth it anyway!

Our 8 yr old godson is in to tricks and pranks so we gave this to him for Christmas. After the shock factor of opening it a handful of times he lost interest in it and wasn’t interested in pranking others either. This might be fun for some children; it just wasn’t a hit with our godson.

He found it easy to reset. I figure he will wear it out pretty quickly. But that’s ok. He had fun with it and he slept with it that night. Other gag gifts were harder for him to re set.

Funny prank for my unsuspecting parents!! It was a little difficult to open, but that definitely added to the surprise-- I was able to pretend to have a hard time opening the container, gave it to my mom, and she actually did have a hard time opening it and was VERY surprised by the snakes! Wish it was a bit easier to open, though, despite this working in my favor. Also wish it was easier to repack for reusability.

I must say I like to see things and judge for myself, but in this case I wish I had listened to the many reviewers who thought this was a major rip off. The lid was IMPOSSIBLE to pry off. My husband worked on it with every feasible tool and when it finally flew open 3 of the most ridiculous excuses for snakes shot out . It did sound like peanuts in the can I will give you that much. I think I will get some snake skin looking material and refashion the springs to look like snakes - a pink, orange and blue plastic doesn't even remotely look like a snake - even to a child. So save your money, I will end up spending a lot more to make this work.

I sent this to my sister who is in college right now with a note that said there was a gift inside the can because the fake peanut rattle sound sounds more like there's a piece of metal in there. She opened it on herself and was very surprised. It didn't end there though. She still heard the built in rattle in the can and assumed that if she packed the worms back in that the "prize" would come out. She opened it again, and was surprised a second time. It probably won't fool your twelve year old quite as well as it fooled my sister.

My husband and I used these to give Christmas money to our kids. We stuffed it in the can on top of the snakes that pop out and it worked perfectly! They were surprised and it was a fun way to give money instead of in a gift card.
