Very functional shelving
So far so good! It fits great in the room, and holds a huge amount of stuff! I think I have about a 250 lb steamer trunk full of tools on just one shelf and it's holding up well! Not the most aesthetic shelving to own but it works great!

Easy to assemble, great price and fast shipping from Amazon.
Easy to assemble and well built. The head of the toy hammer that comes with the unit is a joke. It fell off after the first wack of joining the pieces.Anyone who said that they assembled the unit with the included hammer is a miracle worker.Make sure the cross pieces are assembled with the correct side up. The side that support the shelfs must have the small slot for the cross piece pointing up.Use a standard heavy duty rubber hammer to make the job a breeze.

Annoy your neighbors
Very solid once assembled, and I like how the verticals hide the shelf support holes, it looks ok in a modern bedroom or office. My order came with thin metal shelves, which seem to offer good support, but do not provide a perfect flat surface - I have a 3D printer on this and will need to replace at least one shelf with plywood. These are not very easy to assemble if you're alone, very difficult to hold all the pieces in place before hammering in the pieces, and you will need to use some force to get the horizontal bars attached. My neighbor complained about the hammering noise and my swearing while assembling, but he's probably just jealous of my new shelves.Be sure to measure shelf heights in advance because disassembling this will be difficult.Overall though, they look good, are well made, and good value.

Love this!
Easy to put together, all required tools come with the shelf. You can adjust the shelf height pretty easily, which was really helpful. This is perfect for my pantry.

Great shelves at a great price-VEVOR Storage Shelving Unit, 5-Tier
I am very pleased with the quality, size and appearance of these shelves. They are practical and provide a lot of storage space. I am using them in my kitchen to keep small appliances handy. They are sturdy and fit in the space perfectly. I love all the open slots! I added hooks to hang things like utensils and oven mits. The shelf inserts are very plain and smooth. They could easily be replaced if something were to happen to them.Assembling was fairly easy. I am 5'4" and I was able to assemble these by myself. Previous reviewers mentioned that the mallet included isn't sufficient. Those reviewers are correct. It's a great little mallet, but not heavy enough for this project. I used an 8-oz rubber mallet instead. It worked perfectly.

Sturdy storage but hard to assemble
Assembling this shelf by myself was horrendously difficult. The corner posts are held in place by snapping the side rails into them and every time I went to hammer a side rail into place the one next to it would pop out. As other people have said the small plastic tack hammer that was included was not adequate, I had to get out my rubber mallet and really smack the rails hard to get them to go into position. One thing other people haven't mentioned is the shelf depth issue. Because this unit essentially has l-shaped rails and then particle board is laid on top there is a gap between the 7 mm particle board and the top of the rail. So the shelf is not completely flat there's a little dip. For most things like putting a storage bin on top of it, that won't be a problem. But if you are planning to lay anything across the entire shelf you're not actually going to have it be resting on the particle board You're going to have it resting on the rails and that might be an issue with something delicate. Once I got over the initial problems of hammering it together it went together pretty easily, and fully assembled it feels pretty sturdy. Adjusting the shelf placement would require you to partially disassemble it and reassemble it. And the corner supports are in two pieces so there are a few notches that cannot be used because that's where the two corner posts are snapped together by a reinforcement clip. As you can see in the picture I made my bottom shelf slightly too large and ended up with an extra short shelf at the top. So definitely plan your placement before you start. I do like that they included some anchoring screws so you can attach it to the wall, unfortunately it didn't line up with studs in my shed but I think it will be fine.

Study shelf frames, marginal cardboard shelf material.
The shelves that come with it are fancy cardboard. If you plan to install in a place with moisture then just cut some 4X8 plywood into 17.5” widths and then rip maybe 1/4” off one of the short ends (fits like 47.75”). I used 5/8 plywood but I think 1/2 would have been fine really. Some tips - the slots go “lightbulb up”. Use a heavier rubber mallet and a piece of 2x4 to slide the shelf brackets into place. Make sure the flat for the shelf is “up”. I bought two and the second one took 10min max to assemble with those hints. If this is going somewhere dry and you don’t plan to put stuff like chainsaws and grinders on it the stock shelf material is probably OK for that.
