Nice 2 person tent for the money
Update: Forgot to mention the two ends of the rain fly do not have loops to stake out the rain fly away from the tent body. This could cause possible issues in rain and ventilation issues. I'm going to sew loops onto mine. This is a nice two person tent for the price. It weighs less than in the description, 82.82 ounces or 5.17 lbs. Geertop has joined the "enlightened tent manufacturers" in providing a gym bag type storage rather than a tube shaped stuff sack that are a pain to pack. It comes with a buckle strap to keep everything together. Set up is easy with a traditional 2 pole dome arrangement with good clips. It comes with good stakes and guylines. The rainfly attaches easy with a buckle arrangement. Although it is forest green, note that the rain fly does have reflective parts if you are considering it for stealth camping purposes. Generous sun shade/vestibules at each door. I go motorcycle camping, not hiking, so I won't be using trekking poles to use it in a sun shade configuration. I'll just find some dead branches to use instead of trekking poles. There is a generous storage pouch at each of the two ends and a traditional hook at the top for hanging a light. The storage bag has assembly instructions sewn to the bag, but it does not show how to repack. when repacked I left two ends of the rain fly attached for quicker set up. Fold in thirds width wise, then roll up the tent with the poles. It repacked to about 18" x 6" x 6". It's possible that if you replaced the poles with ones with shorter segment lengths you might get it to repack smaller. The poles are 8mm and the segment lengths are 17 3/8". It also will probably pack smaller if you folded the rainfly separately like how it was originally packed. The longer pole segments are the only negative factor of the tent for me. I have not camped in the rain with the tent yet so I cannot attest to waterproof capability.

Only used in fair weather.
We love the doors on both sides. Used this on a bikepacking trip through Ohio. 2 people in the tent and very little condensation in the AM. Well vented. We did use the rain fly as well. Would be good for one person with gear. Probably best suited for someone 5’7 or shorter. Would be a good pup tent at camp. There are better options for backpacking but it worked In a pinch.

Surprisingly Good!
Lots of features you usually only see on high end tents! The rain fly has taped seams for waterproofing, and the poles use clips instead of sleeves—very easy to set up. Walls made of 100% screen prevent condensation. This style of tent usually has a hub joining the poles at the top, with a little hook to suspend the top of the tent. Instead, this tent uses a simple budget-friendly tie—an elegantly simple solution. Other evidence of price cutting is the lack of zipper pulls. The poles are lightweight aluminum, and the tips come off easily, allowing the shock cord to be replaced when needed. Two doors means you don’t have to crawl over & disturb your tent mate for those midnight bathroom breaks.Minor criticisms: the included instructions are for a different tent. But it’s so straightforward, most people won’t need instructions. Also, the air vent on the fly is a bit flimsy. It doesn’t close securely, so rain will probably get in if the wind is blowing. Also, the prop to keep the vent open isn’t very sturdy. This type of tent doesn’t really need fly vents because the walls are 100% screen and vent under the bottom. This tent definitely fits two people, but they’ll be cramped if they’re over six feet. I’m 6’-1”, and my head & feet touch the ends—I am more comfortable diagonal.Overall, I’m really impressed. Lots of luxury features for a budget price.

Trip leader review! Nice lightweight tent, best for one person
I am an experienced outdoors person, having guided and led camping, backpacking and kayaking trips for many years. Here is what you want to know when deciding if this tent is right for you.Especially for this price point, this is a solid choice, depending on your requirements. It is easy to set up, with two poles that clip in, a breezy mesh body, and a bathtub bottom with taped seams (for waterproofing). It also includes a full, separate rain fly, which is unusual for lightweight tents in this price range. The fly conveniently clips on via pinch buckles (see photos). It also has two small vents, which are useful for letting the condensation out overnight. The tent has two doors, which is a feature I look for, even when I use it solo. Inside, there is a small pocket for things like keys, glasses etcI got this set up alone in just a few minutes. There are included stakes and guy lines (for additional stability). It breaks down just as easily and fit back in the included carrying case on the first try. The materials are good although not on par with expensive name brands. They are better than what you would find at most big box stores, however.Things to note:. I felt that for one person this is a generous tent; I am 6’ tall and fit fine, although I am probably at the upper height range for comfort. That said, I could both lay down and sit up in it. For two small/medium sized adults this tent would be cozy/tight. Given this, I would only recommend it for two people on shorter backpack trips, and for folks who are used to small tents and minimal gear.I got this tent in part to use on group camping/rafting trips during hot weather. Late spring through summer is definitely the right time to use this tent. The mesh interior is great for stargazing and letting in breezes on warm nights. Do remember, though, with mesh, you can see out, and others can see in. The fly adds privacy and some warmth. This tent could also be a solid choice for camping with smaller kids. Leave the fly off, and you can keep an eye on them; each kid has a door, etc. Add the fly and you get a nap appropriate space. While this tent is good for camping, backpacking and kayak/raft camping I would not suggest it high winds or seriously adverse weather when you are deep in the backcountry for an extended time. For durability I recommend adding a tarp/footprint to ensure the bottom of the tent remains in good shape.I look forward to using this tent regularly in the summer on group trips where space is at a premium, and when doing short backpack trips in mild weather.
