Good value good lava
Good lava rock, nice size for plants! Good price, nice coloring, great drainage just make sure to rinse before using.

Clean and consistent.
Consistent size and product. So far, working as I had hoped - am lining new sprouts with these stones to keep slugs away. So far so good! Will be purchasing more for the garden.

Need to rinse outside
I've learned not to rinse this in the sink in the house. Bag one was a disaster with "black grit" going down the drain and "black water" staining everything.Second bag I took outside and poked a dozen small holes in the bottom 3rd of the bag. I took the garden hose and flooded the plastic bag until the water ran clear. I then added this to the substrate in my aquarium. The water did NOT cloud when I later filled the aquarium with water.
