This was a winner for Christmas among the boys (5-10), they were super excited to get started building. I loved that this is a fun toy but also encourages critical thinking, creativity, and teaches how to build.

We purchased this for a birthday gift and it was greatly appreciated. It was great quality at an affordable price. We purchased it for a 10 year old and best part “solar powered; no batteries required.” It was better than Legos but the same size. Once completed, it gives the child a sense of accomplishment and learns how things work.

My 9, 8, and 6 year old love building stuff. This one is actually a bit more on the challenging side. The more challenging, the more rewarding when it’s done. The pieces came in two plastic sheets that you have to cut out. I did help them on trimming the edges where they couldn’t get a clean cut. But most of the assembly was done by themselves.The are a few different models you can build and the instructions can be confusing at first. Since jumping straight to the page with the model doesn’t tell you much on how to assemble it. What we discovered is that you’ll have to assemble the solar power module, motor and gear regardless of what model you want to build. And those were at the front few pages. Once the core parts are done, you can jump to the model you wish to build. Awesome toy for ALL ages. Young and old. I highly recommend this toy, you will not be disappointed! :)

I thought this toy was great! Although it did take 2 adults to put it together fully. Our 7 year old couldn’t do it alone. Lots of parts but overall cool concept toy. I purchased when on sale.

My nephew loved this! Fun and engaging activity. All of the parts were there. Highly recommend!

The media could not be loaded. Got this as a gift for my 8 year old son. He loves all STEM related projects at school so it was cool to have a similar experience at home. At first it took a minute to understand the instructions but after some trial and error he got it. He was able to do this independently with no help from me and watching him test to see how to make it work was exciting as a parent. The pieces are somewhat flimsy and may easily break if not handled carefully. The instructions also give tips on how to disassemble for use on the other projects
