This charging dock is the best of charging docks for the Quest 3!!
This charging dock is very good for keeping your Quest 3 headset juiced up and ready for gaming.I personally use my Quest a lot because I don't really have too much else to do throughout the day.I would like to mention that it isn't as fast to charge the Quest 3 as the supplied official Meta cable and charging brick, but it is faster than a third party charger that might of came from a different device.I have not tested this fully, but it gives my Quest around 2% per minute when shut down and about 0.5-1% per minute when in sleep mode. Again, this is NOT accurate and I have not tested this.It fits my Quest 3 snugly and charges both the controllers and the Quest very well. I have to mention that using the charging pins to charge the Quest's battery rather than a USB-C cable is a lot better in terms of simply just taking the Quest off of the charging dock and start playing. It's so easy and handy! I don't have to worry about breaking the charging port anymore.I actually use a third party strap on my Quest. I am aware that this charging dock has a reputation of not having a lot of compatibility with third party straps as it was mainly designed for the supplied Quest 3 strap. (THIS IS NOT A SPONSORSHIP!!!!) I personally use the Sonicgrace S3 Duo Battery strap with my Quest and I was expecting it not to work well with this charging dock, but the part at the end basically acted as a lift to tilt my Quest forward, making the charging pins come into contact and starts to charge the Quest.I think, provided you have the supplied strap or a strap you know is compatible with this dock, this is definitely worth the money you pay for. The price is actually sensible for once, which is a nice change from other products on Amazon that are priced at £50 for one when it probably only costs £10 to make two.Overall, this charging dock is great. It's stylish, yet functional and is very reliable. You should get one for yourself if you are considering it!

Nice charging station
Good charging unit although you have to make sure it is sitting properly in unit. Also make sure the batteries for hand controls are sitting correctly in the hand controllers otherwise will not charge.

Don't buy for quest 3 dosnt work
Bought this the other day so can have it changing my oculus headset and the controllers works great for the controllers but the head set no matter how I position the head set it will not charge at all so it's not a good charging unit for the quest 3 might work on the quest 2 and the 3s

Absolutly perfect purchase for use.
I was slightly heasitant before ordering this. Other reviews made me feel like this was less adequit then a more expensive dock, but then the more expensive docks didn't have great reviews them selves. But I am so glad I bought this. It's a great priced dock, and keeps things neat and tidy. Also while other docks expect you to have to plug your headset in, this one actually makes use of the charging pins. So you just drop the headset in and it will charge. It's the same with the controllers and it even has a handy little channel to keep your wrist straps out of the way.The lights will glow red when charging, but then sit at green once everything is fully charged.I've had no issues with overheating or batery problmes and sometimes I leave my meta quest on the dock for at least a week.It comes with rechargable batteries for the controllers, which have mettal tabs on the sides and inturn connect to a new set of battery cover hoods. These new hoods have discreet little pin connectors, so just like the headset, you just drop them in and let the charge.Just make sure the batteries are rotated the right way around so that there metal tabs make contact with the hood contacts.

poor design of the headset charging section
overall, this was cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. the charging indicators are good, even the area for charging the controllers are mostly ok (could be better) but the headset charging bit is so annoying, especially if you have the proper headstrap not the crap one the quest comes with by default. the design means it doesnt stand in place propelr thus not charging. had to prop against a wall . I bought 2 of these. I considered sending them both back but ill wait another couple of days but really if youre not sure. jsut get something else and save the hastle.

Absolute must have for your meta quest
The media could not be loaded. I use Venom docks with for all my Xbox controllers. They are always great value for money, durable and the battery life lasts very well. The same goes for this had no issues putting the headset and controllers back in there place to charge straight away. Even when I’m not carefully putting them back in place they still start charging. Would recommend for anyone who has a meta quest.

Excellent docking station so far
I read the mixed reviews for this product, a lot of which said the right hand controller wouldn’t charge, and they were fiddly to place to get a decent connection, but as I didn’t want to pay £80-£90 for a docking station I decided to go with this one. The headset fit perfectly into it’s place without any adjustments and started charging immediately. I put the right hand controller in its place and it started flashing red. Here we go I thought …. I put the left hand controller in and that one started to charge immediately. I retuned to the right hand one and removed the battery cover. I’d noticed two silver strips on one side of the batteries and on the right hand controller, when I removed the cover I couldn’t see them, so I spun the battery round 180 degrees until the silver strips were visible. I put the cover back on, put it in the docking station and immediately it started to charge. So, even the user manual (which you get online from the Venom website) doesn’t explain this, but hopefully anyone reading this review will know that the silver strips on the rechargeable battery have to be visible/on top when inserted into the controller. The docking station itself seems sturdy enough and hopefully will have many years of charging both my headset and controllers.
