Having previously used insulated water bottles without the straw (Contigo 720ml) was interested in trying one with a straw.This one has slightly smaller capacity, making it an easier size to fit into day trip bags, though its main use is for on my desk at work, to keep water cool and fresh, so plenty big enough for that.I was really impressed with the build quality, having a substantial feel to it, from the bottle itself, the lid and spout mechanism to the generous handle and the additional features such as the silicone pad for the bottom, all well thought out and put together. Compared to the feel of a similar priced bottle I purchased last year, it has a significantly better quality feel, with no bits that look like will break straight off.It comes packaged in a plain box with two straws and a straw cleaning brush.I cleaned it thoroughly before use and there is none of the unpleasant aftertastes that sometimes come with water bottles. The straw works fine, with a generous sized mouth piece not restricting the flow. It does appear to be leak proof as claimed, certainly no leaks when rotated it fully whilst full!It advertises as keeping liquids cold and hot, I have only tried the cold as that is what I got it for, so far so good. The real test would be in the summer, so will amend accordingly if necessary.Price wise (£17.99 at time of review) does put it at the upper end of the cost of water bottles of this type (insulated steel bottles by ’unknown brands’), not the cost of the Contigos have purchased previously, but it does provide the premium feel that brand gives.

It's pink, it's really well made, it has a handle, and I love it.At 500ml this is just the right size for me; it holds a good sized mug of coffee and is an easy go-to as it has a wide neck for decanting a drink into if in a rush or when at my favourite coffee house.The metal body has a very slightly textured finish to make gripping easy, with a matte finish that has a hint of sheen.The green silicone base is fitted over the indented body of the flask, giving a good non-slip footing for the bottle and is removable so you can wash and dry it properly.I love the silicone handle ~ it's made of a thick silicone with a some pliability and good grip, and does make carrying the bottle so much easier.The drinking mouthpiece is pliable silicone so no risk of bashing your teeth, making the flask nice and safe to use.I've done the upside down test and had no leaks, and my tea was still hot after six hours so I'm happy with it's heat retention.This is a really nice quality, functional insulated bottle that is easy to drink out of ~ and I love the colours, they're just so pretty. 5*

Good price, great bottle my only minor problem is having to fill with very cold water, as it won’t cool in the fridge because of it’s double insulation.

This is a fabulous water bottle. It is beautifully made with a rubber bottom that will help prevent dents and ensures it is less likely to move or tip. The handle is very useable and the size is perfect.I have mostly used the bottle for cold drinks so far. The stainless steel interior really does keep drinks cold for hours. The drinking spout is very comfortable and I particularly like the way that the spout closes over when not in use. I have shaken the bottle upside down when closed and had no leaks at all!I have tested the bottle with hot liquids and my drink was still very warm 5 hours in.As an added bonus, this bottle came with a spare straw and a cleaning brush.I was meaning to give this bottle to my teenager for school, but on reflection, I think I will keep it for myself.Price wise, this is a little more expensive than I would usually go for but it does appear to be so well made that I feel that it is worth it.
