Bergmann Auto Grip Automatic Mobile Holder (XL, Black)

I've used many phone holders including branded ones but this one is far better and superior built. It sticks onto the windshield like it has super glue and refuses to come loose... It holds the phone too really well. I had a tough time removing it from the windshield when I was giving it to the service centre. I have not used the dashboard holder and cannot comment much. I don't think the 3m sticker provided will hold the phone holder in place over long duration with a heavy phone and rough roads...but I haven't tried it...Overall extremely happy with the product, I've been using it for 3 months now, driven over some really bad roads, hot climate and it has not come loose from the windshield or dropped the phone from the holder...it's slightly expensive when compared to other phone holders, but worth the price you pay.

Good stable device.. it can hold phones upto 6inch screens.The plastic feels a bit brittle though.. need to use it for sometime before providing a judgement on that.Edit1: After using this for a month, i need to say that i'm impressed! I have attached the device to my windshield and the grip seems to be great. I have drove through a lot of bumps, pot holes and bad roads with my phone (moto g5 +, this is a heavy metal body phone and the case makes it heavier) attached but the holder could withstand all of those. Phone never fell off nor did it ever seem like it would. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a descent mobile holder for car with in a budget. I especially like this because it doesn't cover the ac vent like most other holders.

Though, it is very sturdy, good in size (can fit phone like Samsung Note-9), has a depth to hold phone with cover on it and has good grip to catch hold the phone with option to release and lock but off late, after 3 months of usages, it started falling off from the windshield (inside) and I was almost about broke phone. Its adhesive to stick to glass, became weak and hence rendered useless for me. Though usages was also not regular and used only 3 times in 3 months. Disappointed with its durability.The first was good ( I lost it during the servicing of car) and hence decided to purchase the second one but not happy with it. May be seller sold a duplicate one as cover shows German quality but looks like I was sold a chinese made... Therefore, please buy it from store directly.

Not even a year since I bought this item it has already become unusable. The springs came out and unable to refill it. Moreover even though it's on warranty period you can't contact anybody or there is no contact available to communicate. Really sad.

This is an extremely sturdy holder. The plastic is of high grade make. It is also scratch-proof and has a nice matte finish. The suction works very well. I drove over bumpy roads at some length of time and the holder was intact. Parking the car in the heat of the day for several hours also didn't affect the suction.-- Good --* The clamps that hold the phone on the sides are at an angle so that the surface area of the mobile sides in contact with the clamps is minimal. This ensures the volume and power buttons aren't pressed while the mobile is locked in. This is really thoughtful design.* Excellent suction that doesn't give away.* Disc with 3M taps for mounting on dashboard* Ball joint ensures 360 degree movement.-ves* Suction plate and the holder are very close to each other. You may have to reach out your hand to operate the cell while mountedIn summary, this is a great product and high value for money. I got it for 450/- and don't regret the purchase. Please go for it if you are planning to buy.

Finally, a solid mobile holder for the car!The clasping mechanism for the mobile itself, as well as, the suction cup mechanism to fix it to the windscreen are both very secure. I have used 3-4 different mobile holder brands before, but this one is probably the best I've used. Note - it comes in 3 different sizes - L, XL and XXL, so choose carefully depending on how wide/large your phone is. My 5" smartphone is a snug fit in the XL. The product is German-designed, but made in the PRC...however, the German engineering is evident; not flimsy at all. Regarding usage and button access, in the standard position, I was unable to reach the power button on the right hand side of my phone due to the mobile locking mechanism, but there is a neat feature where the bottom is adjustable...so moved my phone down by about 1 cm and now, the power button is accessible. Guess the designers thought of this possibility too. There is another accessory which comes with this holder - a plastic disc base, with double-sided tape, if you want to affix the holder to your dashboard, but I've not used it yet and so can't vouch for it. Another reviewer mentioned that it is pretty good and does not fall off (read an earlier review of this model in a different size). Bottom line - highly recommended, pick it up while its still available!
