Yogurt/Probiotic Maker
Nice compact yogurt / probiotic maker at a reasonable price. It’s lightweight and extremely easy to clean. The temperature and time controls are likewise straightforward and simple to set. A good purchase at a low price and it came with eight glass containers with covers that fit nicely into the unit. Highly recommend.

Give it two or three batch generations
This is a really great yogurt maker that is very simple to use. I like that you can control the temperature precisely and set a very long timer. When you order, once you receive it there is an offer inside to make a social media post to get a second set of jars which is nice. When you just start making yogurt with it and be patient. I bought this to make the L. Reuteri yogurt, And I will be honest the first and second generation batches had this sort of strange feet smell. It was kind of cheesy and sort of odd smelling but I ate it anyway and made subsequent batches from it. The important thing to know is the batches improve in flavor and consistency relatively quickly. By the third or fourth batch the yogurt was nearly indistinguishable from store-bought yogurt quality. Now several batch generations into making it my entire family from my 6-year-old daughter to my wife and I really enjoy this yogurt daily. My recipe is 5 billion CFU L. Reuteri probiotic, 1-2 tablespoons of organic inulin powder (I used two tablespoons but later realized some people said it works better with one tablespoon.), and one quart of half-and-half (I mix it in a 4 cup measuring for easy pouring). For my second generation I used about two tablespoons of the first batch of yogurt, another two tablespoons of inulin powder (I contacted the company to ask about the second batch since I wasn't sure and they said I could either use the inulin or not so I decided to), and the 4 cups of half-and-half. But for generations 3 and all other subsequent generations I just used about two tablespoons of the previous yogurt batch with half-and-half and it has been coming out great!I would recommend this yogurt maker to anyone interested in making this yogurt because it seems like the right tool for the job. I have recommended this to family members as well.

An overall great yogurt maker
I love this machine. I'm using the smaller jars and for me they work really well and are a perfect portion size. I will be ordering another set of the jars to keep a uninterrupted flow of yogurt and fermented fruit going. The machine itself is easy to set up and use, easy to clean and compact for storage or counter space.I make yogurt batches twice a week, using a few different strains that require different settings and every batch has been perfect, just following the recipes from Super Gut and directions of the machine. No bad batches or problems with separation...just great yogurt. I looked at several machines before this purchase (because I over-research and over think everything) and I have no regrets on this purchase at all.

So easy to make yogurt and incredible health benefits.
Best purchase ever! So incredibly easy to make and for someone who does not tolerate cow milk products at all, I have zero problems with this yogurt. And you can download their guide and recipe books…there is SO much great info. The quality is fantastic and we never need to store the containers because we continue making it. We ordered additional large containers and love how much it holds. Love it so much my husband just ordered another one to double our production. Great value. DO NOT boil the lids :). We have all noticed improvements in gut health

simplicity over all
it is simple and works great. no wifi, no buetooth, no cloud - fantastic product.cannot comment on reliability because only used it for 1 week. temperature is accurate (<1C error) based on pyrometer temperature reading.oh, and our reuteri yoghurt tastes great too.

Makes very good yogurt; a few design quibbles
I’d like to give this 4.5 stars. It works very well. They recommend a 36 hour (!) incubation period - way longer than the 4-5 hour period of my last machine (Yogourmet) that died after years of service. Admittedly, the resultant yogurt is great - some better than the Yogourmet, but not vastly. I use the two quart-size glass jars rather than the six individual jars. These two jars, unfortunately, hold *almost* a half gallon of milk, but not quite. Wasteful. The long flat design takes up a lot of counter space - and for a day-and-a-half! I stow mine in a cupboard between uses. Small kitchen. It’s lighter than I expected - plastic construction throughout. All those caveats aside, I’m happy with it. The yogurt it makes (I heat the milk first) is thick, creamy, and tasty.

Unsuccessful at making yogurt, but nice machine.
I really wish I could have figured out how to do yogurt with L Reuteri. So many people say what they get is good. I followed instructions but 3 attempts were disasters. The first was nauseatingly sour, like spoiled milk. Had to throw it out. I assumed I didn't sterilize everything. Tried again. Less spoiled smelling, still nasty tasting. My husband said he could hide the nasty in his morning fruit shakes. Ick. Tried again and just got warm milk like when you're making custard, same density as milk. So I assume I am not qualified to keep L Reuteri alive and happy. The machine itself was cute and compact and easy to use. Buttons seem like good quality. I hated to send it back since I'm sure it's not the manufacturer's fault. Am writing a 4 star review to make up for them probably not even getting the thing back from Amazon (so many returns end up in a Raiders of the Lost Ark warehouse). I think you need to already know how to make yogurt successfully and then use something like this to make it less of a hassle, once you've got good ingredients and the mixture down. I just need to move on with life and not waste any more time on this endeavor.
