This is a really high quality item. Much better than the alternatives I ordered.Solved my problem immediately, whereas some lower quality items on Amazon had me looking second guessing if this was the right solution.If you need an adapter like this, take it from me: buy this one.Very solid, not too deep female connection to avoid it not fitting, the threading is well cut and doesn't stop before the washer, whilst the washer is solid and snug.I purchased a tap on Amazon that came with 3/8" connections on the tap tails, when my plumbing and old tap was 1/2".Put this on, jobs a good'n. Very happy.

Replaced for a German tap to uk.

Used these to attach a trigger shower head on a standard shower hose to an outside tap. All good!

One was visibly better made than the other. One you could see was off centre Internally, leading to a smaller flat area for the rubber washer that would fit over it. The other was fine, and I only needed one.

Perfect fit, no leaks, does the job. Very quick delivery so browny points as didn't know I needed these until after replacing the sink and tap that had smaller tails.
