Love it!
I love this series! At the end they say something along the lines of season 2 coming soon but so far I haven’t seen it anywhere. I watched season 1 on Netflix and loved it so much I had to buy the Blu-rays. Maomao is like a Sherlock Holmes who loves poisons. She’s a 17 yr old apothecary. I love her character. There’s lots of humor but also serious moments as her life is revealed. More of her story comes to light in this last half of the season and there is resolution to different story lines. Given the grown up themes throughout the series, I wouldn’t recommend it for young viewers.

A wonderful story with mystery, drama, political, intrigue, and more
A female Sherlock Holmes in a reimagined china. This series is great it has mystery, drama, political intrigue, societal issues and comedy with the dash of romance-what’s not to love? I love the story so much I dabbled in all three mediums: the anime, the manga, and the light novels they are all worth a try.

Slip cover torn up and the plastic disc box was crushed and is cracked halfway down from the top.

It comes fast and it’s always not broken. It comes like wrapped, and it comes quick.
It’s a good anime for someone trying to get into anime. There’s part one in part two I got the part one in part two and it’s good anime the making another season they’re working on is on crunch or something like that and it’s really good for the price.
