I’m seriously impressed with this Bissell vacuum! I have a dog that sheds a lot, and no other vacuum I’ve tried has handled the hair like this one does. It sucked up so much dog hair that I didn’t even realize was buried deep in the carpet — it was honestly kind of gross, but also super satisfying.The suction power is incredible, and my carpets look and feel so much cleaner after just one use. It’s easy to maneuver, not too heavy, and the canister is simple to empty. You can literally see all the dirt and hair it picks up. If you have pets and carpet, this vacuum is a total game-changer.Highly recommend for pet owners — worth every penny!. The only thing that would make it even better would be if the handheld attachment had a longer hose.

Love the way it moves, so easy to get into tight places and turn corners. Lot of nice features for a vacuum at this price. Does pick up pet hair really well, you will be amazed at how much hair is in your carpet. Light weight so its easy to carry around the house. Good suction power and its quiet. Overall a good versatile vacuum with plenty of power at a great price.

I have owned several high end vacuums over the years and this Bissell is by far the best . The suction is truly amazing. It is light weight. The swivel ability is smooth Very well built. I really like the attachments. They are actually useful. I have hardwood floors and this does not scatter. No expensive bags! Super easy to empty. I am actually looking forward to vacuuming. The other positive reviews are correct. Price is great.

UPDATE: After fiddling with the floor heightening dial, it seems to be working better and picking up more stuff on the carpet and rugs. For carpet, I put it on level 5, for rugs I put it on 3 and that has helped. I've added another star since some of the problem may have been a user error. Original review: I had an older Bissell vacuum that I loved that recently died. I decided to replace it with this Bissell Clear view since it got such high reviews. The new Bissell is just ok for me. I don't think it works as well as my original one and I hate that it doesn't have the option to turn off the brush like the last one (this is a HUGE annoyance for me). It just doesn't seem to have the same level of suction like the old one. The hose is not very long and you have to lay the vacuum down so that the brush doesn't dig into the carpet when you are using that. The hose does have really good suction as does the pet upholstery attachment, and I also love having the swivel option as it helps to get around things. The canister is pretty easy to empty; I am finding things getting stuck on the filter in the canister, however, and maybe that's why there are suction issues?? This one seems to be more cheaply made and while I appreciate that it's lighter weight, it just doesn't seem to have the same quality as the old one (I don't know that it's going to last the 10+ years like my other one did). I'm going to keep it since I don't want to have to hassle with returning this, and it's in my price range, but I don't think I would really recommend if you are looking for something more heavy duty as this is more for light cleaning.

Don't hesitate to buy this if you want a vacuum that actually picks up dirt and pet hair. The price was very fair, plus it's quick and easy to empty the receptacle. It's lightweight, yet feels sturdy, which is always a concern these days, plus the maneuverability is wonderful.I wasn't sure if I'd be able to use it, due to my severe Rheumatoid Arthritis. I thought it might cause pain, but it doesn't. And the best part is it's performance, which is far superior to my previous vaccuum, a much more expensive, self-propelled Hoover Windtunnel.Both the price and performance kicks butt. I can't tell you how long it will last since I just got it, but so far it's turned out to be the best vacuum I've ever owned! Buy it--you'll love it =)

Very good at picking up fluffy dog fur. It's lightweight, which makes it easy to maneuver around the home. It's a bit quieter than some other vacuums I've had, but if you are looking for a quiet vacuum, this isn't it. It actually keeps its promise about vacuuming at the edges as I didn't need to use the hose attachments. I do wish the hose was either a bit longer or a bit more flexible because I find it difficult to reach things I used to reach with ease with my last vacuum. I use it on carpet and laminate flooring, and it lives up to the Bissel reputation of doing a good job. Finally, the dust cup is easy to remove and empty.

Very pleased with this purchase. It's a bit heavy, but in a good way - it feels and performs like a quality machine. Tremendous suction power and a tidy package with loads of attachment options included. Rollers are super smooth (be careful not to pull back too hard - the vacuum can smash a toe or two if you're clumsy like me and not expecting for it to roll as quickly. Empties easily and is a joy to use. Nice, long cord allows me to vacuum a room or sometimes 2 without moving to a new outlet.

Strong suction and is easy to use. It’s lightweight, easy to empty, and works great on both carpet and hard floors. Good vacuum for the price. No issues, thus far.*Note: I would give five stars but, the build feels flimsy with a lot of plastic. We’ll see how long it lasts.
