It really helps me to be independent 💯 cause of….
I have sciatica since 37 years now and that sometimes on the right side or like now on my left side, so getting up from the toilet seat is for me really painful and i have no possibility to help myself in that moment to get up. People who know Sciatica knows exactly what i am talking about. And i am honest if i say that i was thinking how can i solve this problem for the future, getting older is nothing for cowards let me say it like this, if you have issues with your back, hips or legs, knees etc. and problems to get up or down on the toilet seat at home or on vacation - I found the best solution, first i had the feeling omg it looks like i am 104 years old and i need that type of thing? no way, but you know what - if you are really in pain and not in the 90 and have help in the restroom - you need this opened/unfold it and stand it on the toilet, was so easy really easy and the best as i tried it out, i sat down on the seat and what can i say it was so easy to stand up, so easy to hold my body, independency is very important for me, so you need to take care of yourself and if that mean I have this folding get up from seat helper - than I am in - and if my sciatica is gone, i will fold it and store it in the closet or my garage until i feel the “fork” sciatica is coming. i am free of all now i can handle myself in a way which everybody needs to handle themselves and this is awesome for me and hopefully for you too. Don't think 🤔 omg I am not that old, “no” make your life easier like i do, i make my life easier with a lot of things just to handle my life and the life of my husband as well - so we will not be depended on anybody else in the future and that begins with this little thing here in the bathroom. okay it’s not soooo little lol!! 10 Stars from me - dont wait, help yourself don't be or feel depended. I don’t and I am happy 💯🥳👍🏼

Helping me be independent after surgery
This item has been a life saver after foot surgery. I did not want to mount bars on my wall to help me sit down and stand up from the toilet. This functions perfectly when lowering your body or raising up on just one leg. It is priced very reasonable, adjustable, well portable, foldable, sturdy, and a great help for anyone with enough arm strength to pull yourself to standing.

Not great for people using walkers
My husband is paralyzed on his right side and uses a walker. I bought this device so he could have more independence as he is able to sit on his own as long as he can hold on to something. This device works when he has to sit on it; the arms are adjustable and the whole thing is steady. However, when he just needs to walk up to it to pee, the foot pad and front legs don’t allow his walker to get close enough to the toilet.I ended up having to fold it up between uses and unfold only if he had to poop. Defeated the purpose of buying it so he had more independence. Will try the kind that screws onto the toilet seat anchors.
